The Silicon Saxony Days 2026 are set to bring together Europe’s semiconductor and advanced technology community for three days of networking, knowledge exchange and collaboration. Taking place from 15 to 17 June 2026 at Dresden Airport, Germany, the event is recognised as one of Europe’s leading international high-tech gatherings, connecting industry leaders, researchers, startups and technology innovators from across the continent and beyond.

Located at the heart of one of Europe’s most important microelectronics regions, Silicon Saxony Days provides a platform for discussing the technologies shaping the future of the semiconductor ecosystem. The programme covers a wide range of topics, including semiconductors, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, advanced manufacturing, cloud- and software-enabled systems, supply chains, sustainability and Europe’s role in the global technology landscape.

Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, technical talks and interactive sessions, participants will gain insights into emerging trends, technological developments and industrial applications. Dedicated thematic areas will showcase challenges, use cases, best practices and innovative business models, fostering dialogue between technology developers, manufacturers and end users.

The event also features an extensive exhibition area and a dedicated B2B matchmaking programme designed to facilitate new partnerships and collaboration opportunities across the semiconductor value chain.

With more than 1,000 participants, over 150 speakers and exhibitors, and representatives from more than 15 high-tech regions, Silicon Saxony Days offers a unique opportunity to engage with key stakeholders driving Europe’s technological future.

The three-day programme is structured around different perspectives of the innovation ecosystem:

Day 1 - Research, innovation and ecosystem foundations
Day 2  - Industry perspectives, systems integration and scaling innovation
Day 3  - Applications, use cases and industrial deployment

Panel: Common challenges, common goals: EU Chips Act 1 & 2

On 15 June at 17:00, among the highlights of the programme, Silicon Saxony Days 2026 will host the panel discussion "Common Challenges, Common Goals: EU Chips Act 1 & 2". The session will bring together representatives from the European Commission, industry and the broader semiconductor ecosystem to exchange perspectives on the future of Europe’s semiconductor sector.

The panel is expected to feature contributions from: Pierre Chastanet (European Commission), Jana Drbohlavová (Czech Semiconductor Centre Coordinator), Dr. Philippe Flatrès (Minalogic), Ferdinand Bell (NXP Semiconductors) and Matthias Ecke (European Parliament). Discussions will focus on shared challenges, opportunities for collaboration and the evolving policy and industrial landscape supporting Europe's competitiveness, resilience and technological leadership.

As an active contributor to Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem, ALLPROS will support the discussion and, through the moderation of the panel by Roberta Fabrizi from the Alliance Secretariat, will facilitate exchanges between policymakers, industry representatives and ecosystem stakeholders.

Join the ALLPROS Workshop

As part of Silicon Saxony Days 2026, ALLPROS will host the workshop "Connecting SMEs and Industry through the Industrial Alliance for Semiconductors" on 17 June 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00.
The session, led by Niccolò Zazzeri (ALLPROS.eu 2029 Coordinator), will introduce the Alliance’s objectives and activities, highlighting opportunities for SMEs to connect with industrial partners, research organisations and other stakeholders across the European semiconductor value chain. Participants will learn more about collaboration opportunities, ecosystem support mechanisms and ways to contribute to Europe’s future processor and semiconductor technologies.

The workshop is particularly relevant for SMEs, startups, technology providers, researchers and industry representatives interested in expanding their network and developing new partnerships within the European semiconductor ecosystem.
