Objective
Europe’s automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation driven by the shift toward software-defined vehicles, artificial intelligence, and next-generation computing architectures. As advanced semiconductor technologies become central to vehicle innovation, Europe faces both significant opportunities and strategic challenges. To remain competitive in a rapidly evolving global landscape, stronger collaboration between technology suppliers and automotive users is essential.
The main objective of the working group is to foster structured collaboration between OEMs and suppliers across the European automotive ecosystem. By uniting the actors shaping the digitalisation of the vehicle, the group aims to define shared technology roadmaps, coordinate strategic activities, and align on user requirements for next-generation automotive semiconductors and software-defined vehicles. The group also seeks to serve as an open forum for dialogue on relevant European R&D&I initiatives, strengthening Europe’s capacity to drive innovation, standardisation, and industrial competitiveness.
How do we work
The working group operates as a collaborative platform where industry stakeholders meet on a monthly basis to jointly explore priorities and define future directions for automotive semiconductor technologies.
All members work on equal footing and are supported by the European Commission and ALLPROS.eu as the Secretariat of the Industrial Alliance.
If you are already a member, you can access all the working documents in the private area for members.
