This international summer school offers a deep dive into the world of microelectronics, a key enabler of modern technology. Participants will explore the full development chain of integrated circuits—design, fabrication, testing, and system integration—while understanding their role in connecting the physical and digital worlds.
The programme includes lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities focused on four core areas: semiconductor technology, integrated circuit design, digital systems and embedded intelligence, and integration. Real-world applications will span sectors such as telecommunications, automotive, biomedical devices, and space.
Sessions will be led by experts from top universities, research centres, and leading tech companies. Young engineers will also share their career experiences.
Eligibility: Students entering their final year of undergraduate STEM studies in the EU or associated countries.

Selection: Based on CV, motivation letter, recommendations, and academic transcripts. Gender and geographic diversity will be considered.
Travel cost and lodging: Travel costs to/from Budapest will be reimbursed based on receipts up to a total amount of 600 Euros for students. Lodging and food will be provided to the selected students free of charge.
