The EE Times Silicon 100 maps out the high-potential, high-impact technologies that will shape the future of the electronics and semiconductor industry.
In this 24th edition, EE Times highlighted the most promising semiconductor startups with consideration to their innovation capabilities and geographical distribution. The list entails 61 companies that were already recognised in 2023 and 39 startups that were added only this year. The companies' success has been analysed based on the technological area, financial position, leadership and with consideration to sustainability.
Out of the 100 listed startups, 29 are based in Europe, which shows an upward trend in the European startup representation in comparison to the previous years.
As highlighted by EE Times, the Silicon 100 is not a ranking of the "best startups", but an analysis based on specific objective criteria. As such, it offers an overview of the high-potential and high-impact startups that are highly likely to influence the future of the semiconductor industry.
