Quintauris is a European joint venture established by Bosch, Infineon, Nordic Semiconductor, NXP, STMicroelectronics, and Qualcomm with the strategic goal of developing and industrialising RISC-V-based semiconductor platforms. Quintauris was founded with the aim of facilitating the development of interoperable products based on RISC-V architecture, providing reference architectures and promoting wide adoption of RISC-V solutions in different industrial sectors. Major Quintauris platforms are based on the open and extensible RISC-V architecture and are co-designed in collaboration with key players in the semiconductor and software industries. The first focus of Quintauris was in the automotive sector, where security, low latency and determinism are fundamental, but now it is preparing to extend its activities to other strategic areas such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and Data Centers.
