Purpose & Scope of the Event

This one-hour workshop is designed to stimulate stakeholders into the very much needed dialogue of bridging governments, academia & industry in taking an inclusive approach to skills development to foster a more inclusive environment and culture within the European Semiconductor industry.

In this dedicated webinar, OFE will share the strategic relevance of open source silicon in semiconductor research, development, and industrial integration in Europe. The webinar will be structured with both explanatory and interactive sections that will demonstrate how crucial Open Source Silicon is for the strengthening and innovation of the European semiconductor industry.

METIS (MicroElectronics Training, Industry and Skills) is holding a webinar to facilitate the flow of information and the development of microelectronics skills. The webinar will be held on 22.05.2023 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.

The webinar aims to bring together industry experts and leaders, policymakers, academic leaders, and industry associations to discuss the link between gender inclusion and the skills shortage in the semiconductor field.
